I Am the Mummy Heb-Nefert

Heb-Nefert is an Egyptian mummy whose earthly body resides in a museum. In this picture book, she posthumously narrates the story of her life, introducing readers to life and customs in ancient Egypt. The pampered daughter of a monarch and later the happy wife of the Pharaoh`s brother, Heb-Nefert dies and is mummified (along with her beloved cat) and then travels into the afterlife where she meets the falcon god, Horus.
